1794 S-65 R1. PCGS graded AU-55. CAC Approved. Glossy steel brown and light chocolate with traces of darker steel toning on the highpoints. Nearly flawless with only a few trivial ticks, including two left of the eye. M-LDS, Breen state VII. The die crack down through the second S in STATES clearly reaches the wreath and the earlier cracks on the obverse and reverse are stronger. Graded EF40 Average Plus and tied for CC#8 in the Noyes census, photo #39590. Our grade is EF40+. The attribution and Paul Gerrie provenance are shown on the PCGS label. Pop 2; none finer at PCGS. Tied for the Finest graded by the service .
