1794 S-55 R2. PCGS graded EF-45. Nice glossy medium chocolate brown and steel fading to a slightly darker tone in the protected areas. Great eye appeal showing only a few trivial marks. The best identifying mark is a small but clearly defined planchet flake on the left side of the C in CENT (as struck). MDS, Breen state II, with a fine die crack through the hair to the shoulder and clear die clashmarks at the cap and hair under LI in LIBERTY. Graded EF40 Average Plus and tied for CC#5 in the Noyes census, his photo #39128. Our grade is EF40 as well. The attribution and Paul Gerrie provenance are shown on the PCGS label. Pop 1; 1 in 64BN.
