Lot 228

1794 S-63 R2 F12. Sharpness near VF30 but covered with fine granularity and there are a half dozen small spots of shallow verdigris on the upper half of the reverse, the largest of these over NE in ONE. The only contact marks are four light scratches in the shape of an "M" on the cheek, all old and blended into the natural toning. Very slightly glossy dark chocolate and olive brown with lighter brown toning on the highpoints. The date and legends are complete and strong, and the "Fallen 4" feature is obvious.
Estimated Value $600-UP.

Realized $529
