Lot 1949

1926 Sesquicentennial $2.50. PCGS graded MS-64. A very choice example, gold-gold satin frost is boldly hypnotic on this fresh-appearing Commemorative gold piece. Since our observation is that this date is rarely fully struck, then this sharp coin has every suggestion of precision manufacture as seen in standing figure holding the torch and the building’s windows and other exterior detail (PCGS # 7466) .
Estimated Value $800 - 850.
