Lot 169

1825 C-1 R3 VF25+. Choice glossy brown and light chocolate. Smooth and very attractive, close to VF30. A couple fine hairline scratches in the obverse fields; otherwise flawless. Nicely struck EDS, Manley state 1.0 late. The die crack down through the head extends to below the ear but the "egg" die clash mark has not formed right of OF. The curious "notch" on the edge at star 12 is present.
Estimated Value $150-UP.

Realized $207
