Lot 154

1805 C-1 R2 Stemless Wreath VF30. Ten points sharper but there is a light scratch arcing from the curl on the neck to the 8 in the date. The scratch is old and blends perfectly with the toning, but it is still visible to the unaided eye. Otherwise this piece is quite nice. Glossy medium brown and chocolate with lots of frosty lighter brown toning in protected areas on the obverse. LDS, Manley state 2.0. The rim cud break right of the fraction involves at least 5 dentils and additional rim cud breaks show at MERIC. The repunching at the top of the 5 remains clear.
Estimated Value $200-UP.

Realized $391
