Lot 535

1804 S-266a R4+ G4. Sharpness VG10 but there is obvious tape residue across the obverse, 4 small but rather deep digs on the upper half of the reverse, and shallow scrapes along the right side of the 4 to under the bust tip. In addition the surfaces are covered with very fine roughness under a slightly glossy chocolate brown and darker steel patina. Not the most attractive cent in this sale, but the date and legends are clear. EDS, Breen state I, before any die cracks or rim cuds.
Estimated Value $500-UP.

Realized $1,668
