Lot 525
1802 S-231 R1 Stemless Wreath F12. Sharpness near VF20 but covered with areas of extremely fine roughness under a glossy dark olive and steel patina. The obverse is relatively smooth while the right half of the reverse displays the minor roughness. No marks or verdigris. E-MDS, Breen state III. The die cracks at RTY and in the field before the face are clear. The Stemless Wreath feature is obvious.
