Lot 511
1798/7 S-152 R2 Overdate 8 over 7 VG7. A few points sharper but the surfaces are dull from extremely fine roughness, strongest in the field before the neck. No verdigris. The notable marks are a dull nick on the bust, a light rim bruise at the D in UNITED, and a pinprick at the dentils over the M in AMERICA. Dark olive brown and chocolate. The date is clear and the overdate is obvious. The legends are complete and easily readable.
