1793 S-11b R4 Wreath Cent with Lettered Edge G4+. Variety with two leaves following DOLLAR in the edge lettering. The obverse is slightly better while the reverse is a bit weaker than the assigned grade. The surfaces are decent but not perfectly smooth showing microscopic roughness on all but the highpoints. There are a few very tiny specks of greenish verdigris before the face and a spot of raised reddish corrosion at the foot of the T in LIBERTY. The only notable contact marks are some very fine hairline scratches on the portrait and a shallow planchet chip out of the E in ONE on the reverse. Slightly glossy steel brown and light chocolate with darker steel brown and olive toning in protected areas. The date is complete and easily readable and the legends are complete except for weakness on RICA and ONE CENT. MDS, Breen state III. The edge lettering and leaves following DOLLAR are strong.
