1788 Massachusetts Cent Ryder 12-K R6- VF25. Attractive glossy chocolate brown. The only marks of any significance are a few very fine planchet lamination fissures at COM and a single one through the first A in MASSACHUSETTS (as struck). There are traces of very shallow crud in protected areas on both sides. The date and legends are complete and strong. A well-above average example of this very rare variety. Weight 137.1 grains.
