1787 Connecticut Draped Bust Left Miller 48-g.5 Rarity-5 F15. Slightly sharper but both sides display some minor roughness and there are a few light contact marks on both sides. Lightly cleaned with dark chocolate and olive brown toning covering all but the highpoints, which are a lighter shade of coppery brown. The date is tight to the edge of the planchet but it remains easily readable, and the legends are clear. Comparable to the Ford and Perkins examples. Weight 162.0 grains.
Estimated Value $100-UP.
From the Dr. Charles Ruby collection.

Realized $161
