1722 Rosa Americana Twopence Breen-90 F12. Variety without a period following REX. Sharpness VF20 but cleaned and very slightly rough. A shallow depression below the portrait is the only notable mark. The date and legends are complete and strong. Dark steel and chocolate with coppery brown highlights from the old cleaning. See page 41 in the "Redbook." Weight 241.3 grains.
