Nero, AD 54-68. AR Tetradrachm (14.64 g) minted at Antioch in Seleucis and Pieria, dated regnal year 9 (AD 62-63), Caesarian year 111. Bust right of Nero, wearing aegis. Reverse: Eagle standing right on thunderbolt; in right field, palm branch. Prieur 85; RPC I, 4185. Nicely toned. Extremely Fine.

Minted by the Romans in large numbers for the East, this was one of the coin types in circulation in Palestine during the Jewish War. This is a particularly fine specimen.
