C. Piso L.f. Frugi, moneyer. AR Denarius minted at Rome, 67 BC. Filleted head left of Apollo; behind, harpa. Reverse: Horseman riding right. Calpurnia 25; Cr. 408/1b; Syd. 842b. Well struck and in high relief. Extremely Fine.

One of the most common, yet beautiful denarii of the Roman Republic. Symbols and Roman numerals abound, as well as the right and left directions of the types.
