L. Titurius L.f. Sabinus, moneyer. AR Denarius minted at Rome, 89 BC. Bare, bearded head right of King Tatius. Reverse: Tarpeia facing, buried to waist in shields, between two soldiers attacking her with raised shields; above, [star within] crescent. Sear 251; Tituria 4-5a; Craw. 344/2a-c. Nicely toned. Edge filing; probably removed from mount. Nearly Extremely Fine.
