Lot 2098

1901-S. PCGS graded MS-65. Lovely rich golden toning. Evenly struck by the dies, just estimating from the details. The surfaces are vivid gold in hue and drenched in luster. Here, too, we are impressed by the nice, convincing design detail for all areas of this important $5 Liberty Type with not even the slightest amount of uneveness on the central motifs. Pop 235; 52 finer (PCGS # 8404) .
Estimated Value $1,900 - 2,000.

Realized $2,300
