1901. NGC graded MS-65. Well struck and untoned. This is a lovely, healthy-glowing Gem Eagle, one whose full-color obverse and reverse being essentially untoned, beams with frosty luster. Regarding this ’01-S date, the clearest details are found throughout the peripheral areas and also encompassing the key centers which are crystal clear. Pop 111; 47 finer (PCGS # 8402) .
