1885-S. NGC graded MS-65. Tremendous detail from a very positive strike, which collectors like better to see than wishy-washy detail; furthermore, the surfaces show sharp golden hues. No need to worry about the grade, this one is conservatively weighed by NGC since even a cursory examination of the piece reveals its almost pristine condition. Pop 102; 16 finer, 1 in 65+, 12 in 66, 1 in 66 Star, and 2 in 67 (PCGS # 8368) .
