1863, 25¢ Fractional Currency Narrow Margin Specimen Pair. Second Issue, without surcharges. Face Specimen PCGS New 62 A. Fr-1283. . KL-3236. The bronzing frames the portrait nicely on the Face Specimen. Mounting remnants from the Shield on the back led to the Apparent grade. That same issue was also cited as the reason for the Apparent grade for the Back Specimen in addition to discoloration. Lot of 2 notes.
