1863, 5¢ Fractional Currency Narrow Margin Specimen Pair. Second Issue, without surcharges. Face and Back Specimens PCGS. Fr-1232. . KL-3226. Face and Back Specimens, in identical grades, are contained in this lot. The Face Specimen retains very attractive bronzing that frames the portrait nicely. The Apparent grade was assigned to that piece due to mounting remnants on the back. The bronzing remains reflective on the Back Specimen as well. Mounting remnants from a Shield on the back resulted in the Apparent grade. A nicely matched pair. Lot of 2 notes.
