1862, 5¢ Fractional Currency. First Issue, straight edges. Inverted Back Error. PCGS Choice About New 55. Fr-1230. . KL-3211. A lovely example of this popular error, with a couple of light bends keeping it from a much higher grade. It is well centered on both sides, and there are no mentionable flaws save for a couple of tiny paper pulls in the center of the back design that are likely the sole reason why the PPQ designation was not awarded. While this is the most "common" Fractional invert, they are still scarce in an absolute sense and are highly sought by collectors.
