CT-20 1861 $20 Contemporary Counterfeit. PCGS Very Fine 20 Apparent. A CT-20/141 example that is pen cancelled and has a Jackson, MS on the back, as is often seen with these examples. Tremmel states that the postmarks may have been added to identify where these counterfeit notes were found. PCGS mentioned the pen cancel and listed small edge splits as the reason for the Apparent grade.
