T-41 1862 $100. Rare, Unlisted Issuer. PCGS Very Fine 30. Confederate enthusiasts will no doubt be excited by this Hoer note that was issued by an Assistant Quartermaster who is not only unlisted in the first edition of McNeil's Confederate Issuers of Train and Hoer Notes book, but was also in Florida, a more collectible location. According to the notation on the back, the note was issued by Capt. George J. Arnow. Records reveal there was a George J. Arnow in two different Florida units- the 7th Regiment of Florida Infantry along with the 2nd Regiment of Florida Cavalry. Further reserach is needed in order to determine whether the same person served in both units or whether there happened to be two George J. Arnows. A very desirable note and therefore difficult to estimate.
Estimated Value $500 - 800.

Realized $575
