Richmond, VA - State of Virginia. Cr. 5 $5 Oct. 15, 1861. PCGS Fine 15 Apparent. Cr. 8 $10 Oct. 15, 1862. PCGS Extremely. The $5 example remains very attractive for the grade. A small edge tear at top right led to the Apparent grade. Areas of embossing are clearly visible on the $10 note that retains very nice ink and paper colors. Lot of 2 notes.
