1883-CC. PCGS graded MS-65 Deep Mirror Prooflike. CAC Approved PQ. A gleaming white coin. The present specimen displays smooth, ice-white frost on the devices that would settle for nothing less than a full Gem grade. Quite scarce at the MS65 level. We have mentioned the luster. In winding up this description, we point to it being a strongly mirrored coin, with "depth" to the fields suggesting an early strike by new dies (PCGS # 97145) .
