Variety Set of "Chicago 1933 & 1993" Medals. Eglit 42 & 42A. NGC graded AU-55. Aluminum, 45mm. Obverse log cabin scene representing 1833 Chicago. Reverse list highlists rail raods, banking, agriculture and development of Chicago into a major city at time of the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition. Eglit 42 has "Patent applied for" on plain outer rim on reverse. On Eglit-42A "Patent…"has been removed from outer rim which has frosty white speckled surface.
