1892-93 World's Columbian Exposition, Columbus - Expo View Medal. Eglit-55. NGC graded MS-61. 49mm. Half length bust of Columbus holding map on obverse. Reverse depicts standing Indian princess and seated Liberty with exposition grounds behind. Certifed as bronze by NGC, this medal shows many bright areas, which suggests this piece is the gilt bronze variety. There are a few carbon spots on the obverse and reverse.
