Kings of Thrace. Lysimachos, 323-281 BC. AR Tetradrachm (17.2 g), Magnesia ad Meandrum mint. Struck 297-281 BC. Head of deified Alexander right, diademed and with horn of Ammon. Reverse: Athena Nikephoros seated left; filleted torch in left field, monogram below Nike. Thompson 115; Müller 443a. High relief, bold portrait; deep scrape on chin. Lightly toned, with gold iridescence.
