Lot 1932

1928 Hawaiian Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-65. Satiny luster over light yellow color on the obverse, a bit brighter on the reverse. Typical color for the issue, most of which languished in Hawaiian vaults for years, where humidity toned them. One faint scratch is noted up from the warriors hand on the reverse. One of the rarest commemorative halves and worthy of a top end gem collection. Only 233 so graded by PCGS, with just 29 graded higher by that service. An important offering, as such.
Estimated Value $3,000 - 4,000.

Realized $4,715
