Lot 1931

BEAUTIFULLY TONED GRANT WITH STAR. PCGS graded MS-65 Premium quality. One of the nicest Grant with star half dollars that we have seen. This coin was purchased in the early 1940s and put away by a collector. It obviously hasn't been handled as the surfaces are pristine. And the color is outstanding, lightly toned with rose hues around the lower periphery and the reverse, a slightly darker rose color. Examination will note how clean the surfaces are, and we can only wonder if this coin might soon be in a higher grade holder. Look for yourself and decide, for a fresh, unmolested coin like this is a rare thing these days. A coin that a specialist will long cherish after the premium is paid.
Estimated Value $5,000-UP.

Realized $6,900
