Lot 1921

1936-D Cincinnati Music Center Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-67. One of only 13 so graded by PCGS, with none graded higher, in fact, of the PDS set, only 15 coins have been graded this high, and none have been graded higher! That makes this coin one of the very finest known of the type. The surfaces show a remarkable amount of frosty luster, and the strike is full and complete. The coin is toned with fiery flecks of gold and reddish toning, mostly around the edge of the obverse. On the reverse, the toning is very light and iridescent in quality. Any advanced collector would be proud to own such a coin, and you can know that this is certainly one of the very finest in existence.
Estimated Value $3,500 - 4,500.

Realized $3,910
