1885 Liberty Seated Quarter Dollar. NGC graded Proof 66. Deeply frosted on the devices, which remain blazing white in color, while the surrounding fields show gold to yellow toning over the delicate mirror fields. One of just 19 so graded by NGC, with 15 graded higher for the date. Low mintage of just 930 proofs struck, and only 13,600 business strikes made as the mints focused all their coining on Morgan dollars and gold coins.
