1845 Liberty Seated Quarter Dollar. NGC graded MS-64. Boldly struck for the date, with full radial lines on each star, and bold feathers on the fluffy eagle. The colors are unusual in the toning, which ranges from mottled russet to aqua over the lustrous fields. One of 10 so graded by NGC, with just 2 coins graded higher. Apparently, this is one of the better known examples of the date, and worthy of a strong bid as such.
