Sicily. Syracuse, 415-405 BC. AR Tetradrachm (17.2 g). Nike flying right to crown charioteer in fast quadriga left; below, shell. Reverse: Head of Arethusa left, four dolphins around, ethnic at left. Tudeer 11; Dewing 839; SNG Loyd 1364. Die break at 1 o'clock on reverse, but with attractive matte gray toning. A pretty coin, struck on a broad flan, and overall quite problem free. Nearly Extremely Fine.
