1835 N-1 R1 Head of 1834 with Large 8 & Stars MS60+. Lustrous bluish steel and light olive with a half dozen tiny splashes of lighter reddish brown toning on the reverse, including one inside the O in ONE. A tiny vertical nick or planchet chip on the truncation over the 8 is a good identifying mark. M-LDS. A fine radial die crack has formed connecting the midpoint of the earlier crack from star 11 to star 12 to the dentils. Removed from an NGC slab graded MS64BN (NGC label included, and it shows the attribution). Now housed in a PCGS MS63 BN holder. (PCGS # 37105).
