Lot 3692
Five Bronzes of Rome. Four were issued by Marcus Aurelius (one as Caesar; all approach VF condition and are ex Metcalf and Ebsen Collections, 7 VI 87, lot 4509A), plus an as of Agrippa in Fine condition. Lot of 5 coins.
The cataloguer well remembers the gala party held by the Goldbergs for that kind terpsichorean, Buddy Ebsen. He confessed that he had recently purchased a new boat in which he and his lovely wife wished to traverse the seven seas.
