1911-S. PCGS graded MS-63 CAC Approved. Pleasing golden toning and a Premium Quality coin for the given grade. A pleasing choice coin that spares no compromises with its rich golden iridescence on both sides. Strike is much sharper than average for the S-mint issues, with clearly defined "S" mintmark by the arrow points and details aplenty in the eagle’s neck and upper wing feathers (two areas which tend to be weak on this design). Readily available in circulated grades due to elevated mintage, 1911-S seems to have escaped the notice of collectors. Few were saved in Mint condition at the time these were issue.
