Lot 104

1785 Vermont Landscape Ryder-2 Rarity-2 "VERMONTS" variety. SEGS graded EF-40. Rather glossy light to medium chocolate brown. The planchet is mostly smooth, certainly better than normal for the variety, but there are a couple tiny fissures at DECIMA. The only significant marks are several dull rim dents along the lower right quadrant of the obverse and along the opposing rim area on the reverse. Early die state, prior to any die cracks. Struck slightly off center to K-5 leaving the lower half of the date off the planchet. Our grade is F15 sharpness net F12. The attribution is noted on the SEGS label.
Estimated Value $400-UP.
