Unknown. Clown. Oil on canvas, 9"x11". Portrait of a clown, framed to 16½ x 19". It is possible, but not confirmed, that famed comedian Red Skelton, who was known for his clown paintings, painted this piece and gifted it to William Boyd (who played Hopalong Cassidy). Skelton often did not sign his paintings but he was a close friend and neighbor of Mr. Boyd, to whom this painting belonged.
