George Jessel & 3 Other 1920s Caricatures From the Palace Theater in New York. Four drawings by artist/photographer Herbert Mitchell, of performers, primarily vaudeville acts, who appeared at the famous Palace Theatre in New York. From 1913 through the 1920s, the Palace was the most desired booking in the country. The caricatures are 11 x 14 in., all drawn by Mitchell and signed "Mitchell -- Strand,"; they are framed to 14¼ x 17¼ in. The caricatures are of: George Jessel; Allen & York; the Ritz Bros; and Harry Richmond. All are in fine condition.
Estimated Value $300 - 500.
