Bob Hope - Autographed Photo With Negative. 8 x 10 in. photo of a dapper young Bob Hope lifting his hat and signed by Hope in black marker at top right. Accompanied by the negative for this photo, as well as a 5 x 7 in. photo of a lovely young Dolores Hope (born DeFina), also with the negative. Early in 1996, Howard Mitchell, son of photographer Herbert Mitchell, wrote to Mr. Hope to offer him this photo. Howard sent two prints to Mr. Hope, who kept one to use in a television retrospective of his life; he signed the other one and returned it to Mr. Mitchell. A copy of the letter from Mr. Hope's assistant is included.

Born Leslie Townes Hope (1903-2003) Bob Hope appeared in vaudeville, on Broadway, and in radio, television and movies. He was also known for entertaining American military personnel all over the world, beginning in 1939, at the outbreak of World War II and continuing through the 1990-91 Persian Gulf War.
Estimated Value $300 - 500.
