ASTP, 1975, Deke Slayton's "Smoke", "10 Gallon" Stetson Hat. This striking hat was made by Chaparral Western Wear, "Resistol Self-Conforming", 4x, Made in Texas. An internal paper tag reads: "Style: W271 QH60. Color: 111Smoke, Size/Oval: LO, Brim: 3 1/2, Size: 7 3/8"". The hat shows very little wear, but needs a good cleaning. A nice memento of a great Texan.
