Apollo Program, 1964, "Command Module Flight Director Attitude Indicator" (Mounted inside a wooden Presentation Box (13x7x8")), This piece has an engraved descriptive plate on the face that reads:"
Commemorating / The Eight Balls in Apollo / JFS to DKS / September 16, 1964"

The Command Module Flight Director Attitude Indicator was used for training by the astronauts to define the relative position of the spacecraft in three-dimensional space. Manufactured by Honeywell, this square version was the first type of this piece of equipment, a later version was issued that is round.

A rare piece of presentation memorabilia suitable for any collection.
