[The Killing of Bonnie and Clyde] The New York Times, May 24, 194. 22½ x 17¼ in., 48 pp., disbound. A full-column, front-page report, "Barrow And Woman Are Slain By Police In Louisiana Trap," continues on page 3 and takes up half the page, including a two-column rare photo of Bonnie holding a gun on Clyde with the caption, "Clyde Barrow and his companion Bonnie Parker, who were killed in Louisiana…." and a smaller photo of Frank Hamer, the former Texas Ranger who had pursued the pair for year and who lead the posse that ambushed them. Page 3 also has a half-column report, "Dillinger's Girl Gets 2-Year Term." Evelyn Freschette and Dr. Clayton May were convicted of conspiracy to harbor John Dillinger.
