[Likelike] Royal Princess and Mother of Heir Apparent Kaiulani. Cabinet photo, 6½ x 4¼ in., with a revenue stamp at lower left and imprint of M. Dickson, Honolulu, H.I. on verso. Overall foxing specks and a couple of small chips to background paper, not affecting the image. Miriam Kapili Kekauluohi Likelike was sister to King Kalakaua and Queen Liliuokalani, wife of Scottish merchant Alexander Cleghorn, and mother of Princess Victoria Ka?iulani Kalaninuiahilapalapa Kawekiu i Lunalilo Cleghorn. Likelike died when her daughter was only eleven years old.
