1723 Wood's Hibernia Halfpenny Martin 4.16-Gc.3 Rarity-2 PCGS graded XF40. Slightly glossy medium chocolate brown with hints of reddish brown in protected areas and darker olive steel toning on the highpoints. There are traces of shallow reddish scale in some of the protected areas and the surfaces are a bit uneven. The smoothness of the devices indicates this piece was lightly burnished at one time. Nonetheless, the date and legends are strong.
