Lot 380
1817 N-9 R2 NGC graded MS63 Brown. Lustrous steel brown and light chocolate with a couple tiny splashes of slightly darker reddish chocolate toning at star 5. Satiny mint frost covers the protected areas on both sides. The only notable defect is a shallow planchet flake in the dentils at star 13, and the prong of the NGC slab has raised the flake slightly. A bit more care during the slabbing process may have been warranted. Nicely struck E-MDS showing full radial lines in all the stars. Our grade is AU50. The attribution is noted on the NGC label.
