Kingdom of Macedon. Philip II, 359-336 BC. AR Tetradrachm (14.32 g) minted posthumously at Amphipolis, c. 323-315 BC. Laureate head right of Zeus. Reverse: Youth on horseback right, holding palm; under horse, kausia and pellet; letter to right. Le Rider Amphipolis III, plate 44, 32. NGC graded Ch XF; Strike 5/5; Surface 4/5.

The reverse youth on horseback is wearing a particularly well-defined kausia, perhaps due to the kausia being used as a symbol, as well.
