Lot 2364

1922. No D. Strong reverse. PCGS graded VF-25 Brown. The popular issue where the obverse die became clogged with grease or some other residue during the minting process and the mintmark "D" vanished entirely! Only the Denver Mint struck Lincoln Cents in 1922. The low mintage may be the result of extremely high WWI and post-War mintage in 1917-19 (PCGS # 3285) .
Estimated Value $800 - 850.

Realized $863
